SAFE ES7 vs. ES6: Embroidery Area and Configuration
ES7 and ES6 share several core catalogue features. Their most useful selection difference is the maximum embroidery area: compare that field with your largest design before deciding which model to quote.

SAFE ES7 lists 200 × 380 mm; ES6 lists 200 × 280 mm. Both are embroidery-only machines with a 7-inch touchscreen, 312 built-in designs, USB DST/DSB input and a listed 0–860 rpm range. The extra 100 mm on one axis is a design-fit difference, not proof of higher production speed.
The differences, side by side
| Item | ES7 | ES6 |
|---|---|---|
| Machine function | Embroidery only | Embroidery only |
| Maximum embroidery area | 200 × 380 mm | 200 × 280 mm |
| LCD touchscreen | 7 inches | 7 inches |
| Built-in embroidery designs | 312 | 312 |
| Listed embroidery speed | 0–860 rpm | 0–860 rpm |
| Input / file formats | USB / DST, DSB | USB / DST, DSB |
| Power / supply | 55 W; 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz | 55 W; 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz |
| Net weight | 14.5 kg | 13.5 kg |
| Catalogue packing dimensions | 640 × 635 × 450 mm | 610 × 495 × 440 mm |
| Product information | ES7 specifications and prices | ES6 specifications and prices |
Automatic thread cutting, automatic bobbin winding and thread-break detection are listed for both models. Choose between them using the design and configuration you need; this catalogue comparison does not establish a difference in stitch quality or tested output.
Check the whole design, in its planned orientation
Compare both dimensions, not just the area in square millimetres. As a simple geometric example, a 180 × 320 mm bounding rectangle is within ES7’s listed 200 × 380 mm field, while its 320 mm side exceeds ES6’s 280 mm field in that orientation. This example checks dimensions only: hoop clearance, fabric access and the actual stitch file still need review.
If all your intended designs are smaller than 200 × 280 mm, ES6 may already cover the dimensional requirement. If longer motifs are part of the brief, ES7 provides more room along one axis. Avoid promising that a design can be split or re-hooped successfully without checking registration, fabric stability and the digitised pattern.
The maximum field is not a promise that a particular hoop size or quantity is included in the box. Ask for a final accessory list showing the supplied frames, tools and consumables. Packing dimensions are shipping information, not the operating clearance needed around a moving embroidery unit.

Compare the same quantity tier
The published reference tables dated 12 October 2026 use USD per set, EXW China, with quantity tiers for the same model. They are enquiry references, not a checkout price or a delivered total.
| Same-model quantity | ES7 / set | ES6 / set |
|---|---|---|
| 1–10 sets | US$1,064 | US$1,000 |
| 11–20 sets | US$1,000 | US$955 |
| 21–30 sets | US$917 | US$875 |
| 31–50 sets | US$892 | US$842 |
| 51+ sets | Price on request | Price on request |
For 1–10 sets, the listed difference is US$64 per set. That comparison applies to the published reference configuration and tier; it is not a confirmed final price difference for a custom order. Do not combine quantities from different models to assume a higher tier. Transport and destination charges need separate confirmation. Read the EXW reference-price checklist before comparing total budgets.
Before you choose either model
Prepare one representative design and one demanding design. Include the finished dimensions, fabric, stabilizer, thread colours and embroidery position. Provide a compatible DST or DSB file where possible. An ordinary logo image requires digitising before it becomes a machine embroidery program.
Ask for a sample demonstration identifying the machine, hoop, material and settings. Assess both sides of the result, registration and removal from the hoop. Use a timed complete job if output matters; neither the 0–860 rpm listing nor the larger field alone predicts pieces per day.
If you also need ordinary sewing, neither ES7 nor ES6 provides that function. Review SAFE ES5 or another combination model. If the requirement is a commercial multicolour workflow with a confirmed cap configuration, compare SAFE 1501 using the home versus 15-needle guide.
Send Trentzhou your preferred model, quantity, design dimensions and destination. The quotation should identify the included accessories, plug, collection point and delivery arrangements, so that your final comparison is between complete, stated configurations.

The supplied video is labelled ES6-T and is identified by Millionindustry as the ES6 demonstration. It shows the machine, touchscreen functions and example embroidery applications. This is ES6 footage, not an ES7 machine test. ES7’s catalogue field is 200 × 380 mm; the ES6 video displays 200 × 280 mm.
