Top and bottom feed for heavy-material operations
The SF-0336S computerized top and bottom feed machine is listed at a maximum of 2,300 rpm with an 8 mm stitch length, automatic thread trimming and automatic backtacking. Its catalogue illustration identifies 360 mm of horizontal clearance.
The SF-0358-D3 sewing machine with edge trimmer combines top and bottom feed with a knife for trimming material during sewing. Its specification also lists automatic thread trimming. These are separate functions: an edge knife cuts the material, while a thread trimmer cuts the sewing thread. The D3 row does not mark automatic backtacking.
Choose workspace and automatic functions separately
The SF-1510D compound feed sewing machine has a listed 255 × 105 mm operating space and 2,500 rpm maximum. Its automatic lubrication should not be confused with automatic sewing controls: thread trimming, foot lifting and backtacking are not marked for the D model. Buyers who need those functions can compare the existing SF-1510D-7.
For larger workpieces and parallel seams, the new SF-1560DL-25-7 long arm double needle sewing machine offers a 635 mm horizontal operating space and a 1,800 rpm maximum. Trimming and binding for textile and upholstery edges
The SF-1510D-AE and SF-1510DL-AE are direct-drive compound-feed trimming and binding machines. Both are listed at a 2,000 rpm maximum; operating space differs at 255 × 105 mm and 360 × 125 mm respectively.
The AE catalogue description names mattresses, quilts, cushions and automotive upholstery. It also lists optional handling equipment such as a pneumatic foot lifter, air-flotation table, puller and dust extraction. Optional equipment should be specified explicitly. Binder selection requires the tape material, tape width, finished binding width and total edge thickness.

The new SF-341, SF-8B and SF-246D provide different cylinder-bed compound-feed configurations. Their product pages distinguish stitch-length values, speed, lift, drive notes and packing data. The SF-246D / 246 series is specifically identified as auto-lubricated.
When comparing cylinder-bed sewing machines, show the complete assembly and the seam route. Presser-foot lift is a clearance specification; it should not be treated as a guaranteed sewable material thickness. Binding applications should also identify whether a dedicated binder is required.
Roller feed for footwear and leather goods
The SF-591 roller feed sewing machine is the single-needle version in the SF-591 / 592 family. Its catalogue maximum is 3,000 rpm. The series describes electronic automatic trimming, backtacking and foot lifting without a compressed-air requirement for those controls. It is an option to review for curved leather footwear, bags, gloves and similar goods.
