Selection notes
SF-500 has a built-in motor and is designed to sit on a workbench. It is a starting point for clothing shops, dry cleaners and small-batch trouser hemming. This desktop SF-500 is a separate machine from SAFE coverstitch models carrying longer SF-500 suffixes.
SF-101D combines direct drive with 1:1 and 2:1 skip-stitch settings. Automatic trimming, needle positioning and presser-foot lifting are optional. Confirm these functions in the quotation instead of assuming they are standard.
SF-1430 uses a cylinder bed and single-thread chainstitch blindstitch. The catalogue identifies neoprene diving suits and surfwear among its applications. Material thickness, seam construction and finishing must be assessed together; the catalogue does not certify a finished seam as waterproof.

SF-500 is the compact desktop option described for trouser hemming in clothing shops and dry cleaners. Review the actual fabric and workload. SF-101D is the industrial direct-drive alternative when its configuration better suits the operation.
The intended result is a concealed seam on the visible face, but the result depends on the material, thread and settings. Check a sewn sample before confirming the machine and configuration.
Its catalogue identifies neoprene applications, but it does not certify waterproof performance. Confirm the neoprene, joint construction and any bonding or sealing process required for the finished product.
